Tea, while not looking particularly appetising, was delicious.  I wasn’t sure that the original recipe would be filling enough and so I added 1 chicken breast (sliced) to it.  I also used NuMe Bacon Rashers and so it added another 3pps per serving.  I have to thank my son for making it (and over cooking it so it stuck to the pan – luckily he also does the washing up lol), as I had to finally give in to the pain that my back was causing me.

I will definitely be making it again – hopefully I won’t let it catch in the pan! biggrin

Monday Meals 4

I had planned on doing F&H again next week and maybe carry it on up to Christmas.  I’ve done it a few times and enjoy it, then I remembered the last time that I followed it for a week my shopping cost almost twice as much as it does when I pp eek So I decided to do two plans for next week, a fully F&H and a fully pp week and worked out how much each would cost and once again it didn’t favour the F&H 😦  

Money is tight at the moment (and probably will be for the foreseeable future) and I really can’t justify spending more on food when I am still losing by following the pp plan, yeah it may have slowed down some and stuttered a little but overall I am still losing, so I will be continuing with the pp plan and having the odd F&H day instead.

Tonights tea was a bit of a throw together.  I was originally supposed to be having HD crispy chicken with a smoky barbecue sauce, new potatoes and sweetcorn.  But setting up a new TV kinda threw a spanner in the works neutral  (The TV broke yesterday). Time got away from me, so decided to just throw something quick together instead – hence the number of spare points!
