Daily Menu – Monday

Monday Meals 3

After having a F&H day yesterday, today was the complete opposite!  It is my sons birthday today and so we had a Chinese for tea.  This is my first Chinese for over 2 years! And it was lovely! I took the pps from the WW Eating Out Guide so they’re as accurate as they can be.  The Chinese where I went to doesn’t include rice or chips with their meals, you have to buy it separately, and I was going to have about a quarter of my sons, however he decided on a Special Fried Rice for his meal so I decided not to buy any rice for myself and to have my usual microwave rice instead.  I also didn’t eat all of the Sweet and Sour Chicken, I left about a quarter of it.  In the Eating Out Guide it just says Prawn Crackers – 4pp, not sure how many that is for so I thought 1pp per cracker should cover it.  If I underestimated it then it will be fine as I had 48 weeklies left and those that know me, know I won’t be using any more for the rest of the week.

I know I could have got a “healthier” Chinese, but as I said previously it’s not something I have very often so I thought I would get something that I really like 🙂  We haven’t had the cake yet, probably have that in about an hour as still quite full at the moment.

Snack – Pineapple and Red Grapes (if needed)

Monday Meals 2

Getting really fed up with my back now.  Spent the majority of the weekend on my massager recliner chair 😦  I’ve got my appointment through for the bone density scan – for next Friday and I’ve made an appointment with my GP for a couple of weeks later.  He’ll definitely have got the x-ray result by then and hopefully he should have the scan result too.

Monday Meals 1

Tried two new items today.  Firstly a LowLow Snack Pack.  There are 2 different types: 1 that is 5pp and has caramelised onion chutney and another which has red pepper and onion chutney and is 4pp.  Today I had the 5pp pack with my dinner.  The chutney was really nice, as was the whole thing but is it worth 5pp?  Not in my opinion.  I usually have 4/5 Jacob’s Choice Grain Crackers and 2 Laughing Cow Light triangles for the same amount of pps and they fill me up a lot more.

The second item was Chobani Fat Free Yoghurt with Raspberry for 3pp.  Can I just say that I’m in yoghurt heaven?  It was delicious, so thick and creamy.  When I first started WW, I used to have Activa Thick and Creamy yoghurt, but there is absolutely no comparison between the two of them.  The Chobani wins hands down. I would highly recommend it and I will definitely be buying more of them.

Day off work today as had to take car in to get the damage sorted that my son had done a couple of weeks ago neutral.  When I looked at my meal plan for today, I realised that the majority of it was F&H, the only pps would have been for my usual Ambrosia Rice Pot and 1pp for Parmesan on my pasta, so I ditched the rice pot and added an extra egg and ham at dinner.

Only problem was I’d started eating my tea and realised I’d forgotten to add the Parmesan neutral  Oh well that’s a pp saved from my weeklies lol
